FDA Request For Information: Take Action

January 30, 2026Featured News

The Celiac Disease Foundation is leading a national patient and consumer survey in response to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) recent Request for Information (RFI) on gluten labeling and gluten cross-contact in packaged foods. We are asking SSCD members to help elevate patient voices by sharing this survey with your patients who have celiac disease or who follow a gluten-free diet for medical.
This survey will capture real-world perspectives on how consumers interpret food labels, make purchasing decisions, and manage risk related to gluten exposure. Aggregate results will be submitted to the FDA to help inform future federal policy and guidance on gluten labeling and cross-contact prevention.
By sharing this survey with your patients, you can help ensure that patient and consumer experiences are directly represented in federal decision-making and that future policies are informed by the realities of living with celiac disease.
